Kingsbourne Academy - Nantwich

Construction began on the new Kingsbourne Academy site in Nantwich in June, 2025 and was completed for the 2026 school year.  AMS Cladding had the pleasure of workings on this project, providing a range of wall cladding solutions to offer a striking aesthetic.

The front facade uses a combination of 12mm Cedral Click-Woodgrain (Pewter C54) Plank Rainscreen Cladding along with a 12mm Equitone Rainscreen Cladding System in green around the entrance canopy.

Equitone Rainscreen is also used in various colours along the classroom sides to create a fun environment for the children.

Two Brett Martin polycarbonate rooflight systems with a pearlescent finish were fitted to diffuse natural light along one side of the building due to a high treeline.

Panel Rainscreen Cladding Specification – Etex (Exteriors) UK Ltd Equitone Rainscreen Cladding System, comprising 12mm thick Equitone Equitone Smooth (colour as stated below) A2 Certified Fibre Cement Panels, Face Fixed to Timber Subframe System, Rainscreen Insulation Board, Breather Membrane, fixed into New CP Board & SFS Framing System.

Rooflights

Canopy Rooflight Specification – Brett Martin Daylight Systems Limited. 16 thick, 7wall polycarbonate glazing system with an aluminium perimeter trim system; glazing colour – Glass Pearlescent; including all trims, fixings, caps.
